“Golden Girl” Set

Class: Huntard (with bow), Shaman (Engineering required for goggles)

H: Truesight Ice Blinders | S: Spaulders of Incoherence | Cl: Not shown
Ch: Tunic of the Artifact Guardian | Wa: Belt of Lingering Corruption | L: Sunhawk Leggings
G: Gloves of Earthen Harmony | Wr: Not shown | B: Greaves of the Earthbinder

Bow: Arathar, the Eye of Flame

Thoughts: Totally and utterly unplanned set – but I think it 95% works.  (I think the gold on the top is a little too strong compared to the gold on the legs, but eh, I’m debating on how much I care.  Any suggestions for alternatives?)  This outfit is proof that hanging onto things can, in fact, produce a decent outfit (someday).  You know, once you get enough crap, something’s BOUND to match!

That’s a really great bow. True story: we had a hunter in Firelands who needed that bow, and went on every run. The first night we downed Rag without him it dropped. With not a single hunter in sight. We gave it to the Dk tank (who was wanting Sulfuras), and much rage ensued the next day. Then it dropped again a couple weeks later, again no hunter, gave it to the paladin…

    Good times, good times. 😀

It’s just like how when I ran End Time on my DK, the Echo of Sylvanas dropped that stupid bow I wanted for Thermalix …

And actually when I ran End Time on Niremere, that stupid bow dropped again …

I wonder if there’s some sort of hidden code in the game that dictates the fancy bow you want will only drop when your huntard is not present, and only then if there’s a DK in the vincinity. Then, to add salt to the wound, it will only drop again should it have dropped and been given to the DK before, AND there is a paladin in the vicinity. And of course it’ll go to the paladin.
